Mark Pagenkopf (GM, President) Markus Pagenkopf, co-owner and President, grew up in the family’s business under the guiding eye of his father. His career literally began at the age of 10, helping the company process the products that have put Alberta Pallet ahead of the competition. Since then, Markus has continued the proud tradition in creating and delivering quality lumber products for discerning clients around the world.
He also served as director for the Canadian Wood Pallet and Container Association from 1988 to 1999.
He is an avid fisherman and bow hunter. Summer evenings you will find him somewhere on the banks of the bow river fly-fishing and in the fall; sitting in a tree stand with his bow and arrow.

Ben Malek (Sales and Marketing)
Ben brings to you nearly 40 years experience in the manufacturing sector, with 36 of those years managing the manufacturing processes in varying degrees. With over 20 years experience in the packaging industry; Ben can help you chose the right pallet or crate for your specific needs, be it a domestic shipment or international. As a former director and Vice President of the Canadian Wood Pallet and Container Association, Ben is able to help you with the diverse and often confusing world of regulated packaging for international shipments. After serving as the General Manager of another prominent pallet business in Alberta for 10 years, Ben has brought his expertise to Alberta Pallet in August of 2010 and has been a welcome addition to the team.
